Day One

There are only a ton of blogs out there, so what is one more? This will be place to put out ideas, mainly concerning Philadelphia sports, politics, and SEPTA, the three things that have bothered me the most during my time here. So, feel free to check back, and I will write when I can, but for tonight let's address this Big 5 rivalry.

Temple-St. Joes (full disclosure i do not now nor have I ever been accused of being a fan of St. Joe's)

Observations:

  1. Someone get Sergio Olmos a set of hands. The kid has great touch from 17' and in, but give it to him in the post and he is bound to get bowled over. Bring back Nehemiah(spell check). Chaney's "thug" to all the non-TU fans.
  2. Wow to TU defense.. Came up big towards the end of both halves. Shut down the Hawks when it mattered.
  3. Semaj(yea my twin's name is James) Inge is going to inherit the spotlight that Mark Tyndale left to Dionte Christmas. Kid's got skillz(the Z does in fact matter)
  4. Open Jump shots are still open jump shots that should be made. Really exhibited why the Atlantic 10 has become a mid-major in recent years.
  5. Is anyone ready to think that the Owls might get to the tourney again? They looked comfortable following that excusable Xavier loss.
  6. Finally, someone tell the kids at St. Joe's how to be basketball fans. Temple, thats the way you take over the Palestra. Keep shoving kids on buses and getting them to games
So that wraps it up for today. I am going to probably talk about the economist article concerning Michael Nutter next time. Oh and by the way if you like this blog, please tell me in the comments, if not then F*** You(just kidding, but thanks for the read).
